Mounted point is a general name of small grinding tools that applied in electric grinder, hanging mill, hand drills. According to the diverse materials, it can be divided into several types.
Ceramic-mounted points: the use of ceramic bond to sinter sand grains (typically are corundum, white corundum, chromium corundum, silicon carbide) into ceramic mounted points and combined with a metal handle. They are used for grinding the inner wall of the aperture or polishing molds.
Rubber-mounted points: the finer sand grains are synthetic by the rubber binding agent for mold polishing. The rubber-mounted point comes in handy for de-burring applications.
Diamond-mounted points: the grinding tools are made by stone, ceramic materials or other non-metallic materials, in particular, it relates to a grinding tool with the diamond alloy grinding body, which comprises a substrate and a plurality of grinding bodies. The diamond-mounted point is useful in carrying out profiling work in hard materials.
